Typical composition ranges for 304 / 304L stainless steel wires are approximately 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel.

In terms of machining, Stainless Steel 304 / 304L wires are generally easy to work with. They can be readily welded, forming strong and durable joints. However, it's essential to use appropriate welding techniques to prevent sensitization, especially in the case of standard 304. Additionally, these wires can be machined using standard machining practices, but as they work-harden quickly, the use of proper cutting tools and techniques is essential.

We suggest using pallet packing or plywood containers to ensure secure packaging and timely delivery of the required shipment. Marks related to the task information (such as heat number, size, material, and part number) are present on 304 SS wire. Every delivered wire includes this information printed along with it. To avoid any damage, SS 304L ASTM A580 Wire will be packed in accordance with international standards, first in bundles tied together with strips and then into containers.
